This week* JONATHAN BOYMAL and SINCLAIR DAVIDSON caused a stir in The Age Newspaper when they called for the Australian TV content quota to be scrapped. So later on this program* Dr. BOYMAL will debate the issue with Professor JOHN MCLAREN* consulting editor of OVERLAND* and a fierce proponent of Australian content quotas. Also* a couple of recent publications* the National Association for the Visual Arts has published an enlarged and updated edition of the Code of Practice for Visual Arts and Crafts* and the Youth Action and Policy Association in NSW has released a guide to organising youth entertainment events. And Artistic Director* ROBYN ARCHER* then sang her way through the festival program for a whole 90 minutes* Arts Alive did not stay the course* Duty called* recording the debate to be heard later on the program beckoned. NAVA* the National Association for the Visual Arts* has just published an enlarged and updated edition of the Code of Practice for Visual Arts and Crafts Sector. The first code was published in 2001 and quickly became the bible on a whole range of industrial* commercial and legal issues for visual arts and crafts practitioners. Arts and Crafts (4.56) Starts with: Several things have been added* Ends with: * Tamara Winicoff, of NAVA* the National Association for the Visual Arts. Now another publication* but not quite so ambitious. In an effort to support young people....organising gigs in their local area* the Youth Action and Policy Association in NSW has released a document that does just that* KRISTY DELANEY explains.... Item 3: New Guide from YAPA (2.20) Starts: I'm from the...
