Music by Rachmaninov* the second movement of his second piano concerto.  It is the score for the ballet* Ascesion* choreographed by LEIGH ROWLES* for the 40th anniversary celebrations of the Australian Ballet School.  It will be part of two performances* in Melbourne at the State Theatre on Friday 24 Sept and Saturday 25 September.

A conference was held last week that attracted academics and museum professional from around South-east Asia & the Pacific.  It was called The Re-birth of the Museum? (question mark).  Vincent went along and asked one of the organisers* DR CHRIS HEALEY* why was there a question mark in the conference title*

NINA-MARIE PETRIK caught up with company member ANDRIS TOPPE* who's been with the company from its humble beginnings* and first asked ANDRIS how the company coped without Artistic Director* GRAEME MURPHY* who was on sabbatical last year...
