This week*  The St Kilda Festival, Australia's oldest short film festival, opens in Melbourne and is set for a national tour*  And we catch up with comedian Jodi J Hill on her day off in Brisbane.  She and a couple of other veterans of April's Comedy Festival have been playing to audiences down the Queensland coast.  Our guests are Sharon Jacobson and Criena Kelly from Off the Map.  They are creating a theatre project called Plan B for former prisoners, hoping that the experience will help break the cycle of crime* imprisonment* crime* re-imprisonment*  And Nicole Findlay has been to a workshop called BETWEEN WORLDS, an interactive experience of music, art, poetry and story exploring Indigenous ways of knowing* and Nina Marie will review TROY, the new sword and sandal epic.

As autumn and winter settle on the southern states, it's again time for the film festivals to blossom, and one of the oldest community based ones is the St Kilda Film Festival, located of course in Melbourne's bay-side St Kilda.  Paul Harris has been the festival director for six years so Vincent asked him what changes had he seen over that time*
