Our guest is Adrienne Langman from Nana Glen in the Bellingen valley of NSW¡K. That is also where Russel Crowe lives¡K Adrienne and her husband Larry had a Damascus road experience that changed their lives¡K but has nothing to do with Mr Crowe.  She tells the story in her first book¡K Choosing Eden¡K the real dirt on the coming energy crisis.  But first a round up of the week¡¦s news¡K

Artsupport, an agency operating under the auspices of the Australia Council for the Arts, has recently launched a web site to bring together resources of use to arts organisations seeking to find philanthropic support for their work¡K To find out more I spoke to Louise Walsh, a lawyer and former fund raiser with the Sydney Symphony Orchestra who is now the director of Artsupport¡K

master classes and lectures are November 20 in Sydney and November 22 in Melbourne, but the Sydney master class in now sold out.

The small town of Sheffield, twenty-five kilometres south of Devonport in northern Tasmania has established itself as a centre for the celebration of the mural.  Mural Fest is now in its sixth year and is calling for entries for the next festival scheduled for the last week of March next year.  Anne Taylor is Treasurer and Arts Management Team Leader for the Mural Festival¡K

Anne Taylor, from Mural Fest in Sheffield, Tasmania.¡K The Mural Fest paint-off commences on Sunday 23 March and ends on Saturday 29 March next year.  The prize money for The Judges Choice Award has been boosted to $6000 while The People's Choice Award offers a $2000 prize, and the Visitors Award, $1000. The presentation will be held at a Gala Dinner, which forms a part of the Global Mural Fest and Conference 2008. They jointly ran Create-Ability, a series of arts workshops in the central west of New South Wales, part of the Arts out West program in NSW¡K Here¡¦s Ngari to begin the story¡K
