Now another Jane Austen conference has been announced¡K this one is for Melbourne in November, and will focus on Jane Austen and comedy. In the alternate year to the Venice Biennale of Contemporary art, the exhibition park in Venice is given over to an architecture biennale. The Royal Australian Institute of Architects has just announced the team that will lead the Australian presence opening in September 2008. I spoke to Carey Lyon, the Immediate Past President of the Institute and previous chair of the Venice Architecture Biennale Committee for the story¡K.
