Body of Knowledge, an exhibition of fifteen portraits of women touched in various ways by the AIDS epidemic, opens in Melbourne* And big things are happening in Perth in the field of puppetry, with plans to host a world conference on puppetry and to break a Guinness record for the most puppets assembled in one place.  We・ll also hear from Nina-Marie Petrik whose been talking with Andy Freers from the Snuff Puppets, one of the many acts that are part of the cultural program attached to the FINA world swimming championships.  Our guest is author Max Barry who is building on the success of his first two novels* especially in the United States* with another satire of corporate culture and ethics. Bridgit Duplos at the opening of Body of Knowledge, an exhibition of fifteen portraits of women touched in various ways by the AIDS epidemic.  And before her, photographer Michael Coyne and playwright Graeme Pitts who produced the pictures and words.  And the acapella group providing entertainment was Juene, that・s Angelie O・Brien, Jess Gonsky, Staci Sargent, and Kate Zimmer.  Body of Knowledge will tour metropolitan Melbourne over the next few weeks and Positive Women, the sponsors of the exhibition, are keen to hear from venues further afield.

Big things are happening in Perth in the field of puppetry, with plans to host a world conference on puppetry and to break a Guinness record for the most puppets assembled in one place.  It is all the work of Spare Parts Puppet theatre and artistic director, Phillip Mitchell*.
