Sue BrooksSue Brooks Sue Brooks is the director of the new Australian film "Road to Nhill", a "real time" comedy about a car accident and how the residents in a small country town react. It is nominated for 2 AFI Awards and is released in Australian cinemas mid-November.

Though a first time feature film director, Sue previously worked on a couple of award-winning documentaries and short fictions. She is also one of the directors of TV series "Raw FM", and currently working on an ABC 13-part drama series.

Sue talks to Vincent O'Donnell & Nicole Foote about her way in the media industry from photography to film, her long time committment to the development of "Road to Nhill", and how the film's all-woman production team from country towns came together. They also discusses about the use of landscape in Australian dramas, particularly Sue's works, to express the relation of Australian characters to the world. (Note: weblinks updated)
