Adelaide fringe festival 1998

Selected from 200 entries of a competition, a bizarre design featuring the Poop Armadillo, a postmodern inorganic creature, is chosen for the poster of 1998 Adelaide Fringe Festival, starting February 20th - a week before the Adelaide Festival of the Art.

Adelaide Fringe director Barbara Allan explains to Vincent O' Donnell that the design is chosen for its capturing of the fringe. Barbara also talks about the changes in the fringe over the past decade. (Note: weblinks updated)
