The organisation, which organised two public design competition in 1986 and 1993, is now holding its third one open only to professional designers. Entries closes on September 30th and will be judged by a panel of professional design groups. Nasha Bahfen spoke to Ausflag's executive director Harold Scroubie about the previous design competitions, the reason behind the competition's restriction. Mr Scroubie also helped clarifying the relevancy between the competitions and republican debate, as well as providing some tips for entries.
