Self-styled photo gipsy Almitra von Wilcox has taken her first steps in planning her walk around the world. Almitra has gained much attention by promoting her journey, including interests in sponsorship by several notable foot-wear companies.

Throughout her estimated twelve year journey Almitra will publish on the internet the photos she takes. When she returns, she will write a book.
