- shadows in the dust
- is an exhibition that celebrates the lives of
contemporary stock men and women of CAPE YORK, and their families.
The exhibition features the photography of PETA HILL, and linocut prints by
ZANE SAUNDERS, DANIEL GEIA, SHANE GORRY AND LISA MICHI. It
opened at the Museum of Victoria last week as part of a national tour that
began in Cairns a year ago, and will end in New York in 1999.
- budget
- Little variation after the cuts of last year's budget, the
foreshadowed cuts to the film and television sector did not eventuate, and in
a magnanimous gesture to older authors, PUBLIC LENDING RIGHTS
entitlements were not cut off at 25 years after publication. The cost to
government ? $200,000.
