The starlight did shine on sleepy sea waves whispered to the shore. A stranger did travel through his willful tangle, threatening to consume. Rocket of light, flash of impact a star did fall as if an omen His mind did quake in fear. The gods bore witness to his solitary vow, sent the sign to declare it. The journey begun with single intent, courageous but not without folly. On he traveled through darkness and light. Brave deeds he did commit, terrible nameless evils also. An end he wished for his tortured pain, and reason for profitable gain. He met many who would help, or hinder as was their want. But none could give him peace. Until one stood forth but fearing he drew away and lost. He wanders still, hoping, yearning, waiting, searching, wailing to the stars and his beloved goddess who is forever beyond his reach. |
