The Story of Easter

Once, long ago, there was a handsome young man named Jesus who was the precious and much loved son of Kuan Ti, the Sky God.

Kuan Ti sent Jesus from the stars on a very special mission to our planet Earth to teach people how to be loving and kind to each other and how to live their lives in a good way.

Jesus went from town to town showing everyone how good manners and right conduct and respect for each other and their own way of living would make everybody happy and free.

But the Evil Spirit Demon which lived in a castle in a dark place under the earth wanted to catch peoples' souls and drink their blood.

So Jesus decided to trap the Evil Spirit Demon and save us all from being captured by it. He let the Evil Spirit Demon catch him instead because it wanted to eat him.

He knew that, even if he died too, because he was the son of Kuan Ti, the Sky God, and because he had been such a good person, his soul would be free from being eaten by the Evil Spirit Demon.

Kuan Ti was hiding up in a cloud watching what was happening. When the Evil Spirit Demon came out of its castle and grabbed Jesus, Kuan Ti threw a lightning bolt which struck the Evil Spirit Demon and turned it into a flock of harmless black birds.

Kuan Yin, the Goddess of Mercy and Compassion, saw everything from her home upon the top of the Sacred Magic Mountain.

Because Jesus still wanted to help people and complete his special mission as he had promised, Kuan Yin made a special prayer to send beams of healing energy from the Sacred Magic Mountain to bring Jesus back to life again.

So, now Jesus has Kuan Yin's power of healing sick and dying people and can teach people who have a kind and loving heart how to heal others too.

Kuan Ti then promised the people of Earth that, one day, if they all learned to be good and kind to each other, Jesus would come back again to teach us all the way to become special children of Kuan Ti, the Sky God, too.

And that is the story of Easter.
