Within Jewish communities all around the world, Jewish students and youth are active. Whether they have a religious, social, cultural or academic emphasis, these organisations are all vital to the future of their local communities. BBYO is the youth arm of B'nai B'rith - the worldwide Jewish community service organisation. It
plays an extremely important role in strengthening Jewish identity in young people from 14 to 25.
This is the Conservative branch of Judaism's Rabbinical college located in New York, in the USA.
Students come from all around the world to train and then return to serve the communities
from which they came.
This is the roof body of Jewish student societies from all over the United Kingdom. The site contains
links to many Jewish Societies on campuses all over the country, together with many other useful
resources for Jewish youth.
Located within one of the most famous universities in the world, this society is extremely active both on
campus and within the Hillel campus movement.
This illustrious institution is dedicated to the appreciation and consumption of one of the greatest gifts
that Judaism has given humankind. Cholent - a culinary masterpiece that once eaten is never forgotten
(well, at least not for the next hour or so). Midst the joys of gefilte fish, schmaltz herring, latkes, tzimmes
and blintzes, cholent is king and reigns supreme! You don't know what cholent is? You haven't lived!

They may spell it differently, but the Oxford people are just as dedicated to their passion for Cholent
(or Choolent) as are their Cambridge counterparts. On first thought, you may feel that this Jewish
delicacy is a little out of place in the sedate atmosphere of Oxford. But after a generous bowl of cholent/choolent,
"sedate" is really all you want. (Grin!)?
This programme awards scholarships to Jewish tertiary students and young
professionals (19-29) to learn about and experience Judaism and tour Israel while
living in Jerusalem. Three-week winter and four-week summer programmes are offered.
