Latrobe Valley Group
The Latrobe Valley is a part of Gippsland which in the eastern
part of Victoria, Australia. Much of the surrounding area still
retains indigenous species. The best areas to see
remaining flora are Tarra-Bulga and Morwell National parks.
The floral emblem for the Latrobe Valley Group is Grevillea
chrysophea which occurs in scattered parts of the local area,
particularly in the sandy soils to the south of the Latrobe Valley.
