Hansard Work Exchanges

The CHRF has created a service to match reporters interested in an exchange, after which negotiations can move to the individual Hansards involved. To take part in this service, please send the following information to or and your details will be posted anonymously on the CHRF web site: your position and Hansard, your Hansard experience and where you would like to go. If we facilitate a match, we will pass on relevant details and you can take it from there.

AUSTRALIA, Victoria
Reporter with eight years experience would like to do a work exchange with a reporter in the United Kingdom, preferably England. [Please contact Ian Dewar or Sharla Millett for details.]

SCOTLAND , Edinburgh
Reporter with seven years experience would like to do a work exchange with a reporter in Canada, preferably Nova Scotia . [Please contact Ian Dewar or Sharla Millett for details.]

UNITED KINGDOM , London
Reporter with two years experience would like to do a work exchange with a reporter in Canada, New Zealand or Australia for two to three months. [ Please contact Ian Dewar or Sharla Millett for details.]

*Note: the exchangee can choose a different time for their own exchange — that is, it doesn't have to be at the same time. This would be negotiated between the relevant Hansards.

Disclaimer: The CHRF takes no responsibility for exchange negotiations. This is merely a matching service.
