The Constitutional aims of ANZSES are to:
- gather scientific data for use in the
management of Australia's natural
environment
- provide an appreciation of our
relationship with, and respect for, the
environment
- encourage competence in scientific field
work
- foster people's ability to live and work
together harmoniously while pursuing
common goals
- and to develop the personal qualities of
members: initiative, self confidence,
physical endurance, organisational skills and
qualities of leadership;
In this way ANZSES strives to make an important
contribution to Australia's future.
ANZSES has no political affiliations. We
believe land management policies can only be determined
when there is full understanding of a region's biological communities,
geology and prehistory.
