This book tells the true to life experiences of 20 members of the regiment.  
 
It covers the period from our enlistment in the Regiment, our experiences in action against the Japanese Army in Malaya and Singapore, and subsequently what happened to us as prisoners of war (POWs) for 3.5 years.
 
It represents a history of our lives during this period.
 
The book was written mainly for the interests of relatives and friends of POWs and to provide a record of events for posterity.
