Comments: The guns used by Australia were captured from the Italian Army where they were used as an anti tank and infantry close support weapon. The original design was Austrian (Bohler).
The Italian designation was Cannone da 47/32 M35. Like the 2pr some were bolted to the trays of trucks and used in the portee role.
