To illustrate the military and social life of soldiers, their wives and companions, as members of the 1st Battalion, 73rd Regiment of Foot in NSW during the period 1809-1815. The highest possible standards of historical accuracy in uniforms, equipment and drill are to be adhered to.

Goals:-
* To educate the public of the events that took place in the early history of Sydney & NSW;
* To focus interpretation on the role of soldiers and families of the 1st Battalion 73rd Regiment of Foot;
* To give the Public and Regiment members an enjoyable and informative experience.

Objectives
* To recreate the 1st Battalion, 73rd Regiment of Foot in first and third person programs and displays and to make these displays as authentic and real as possible
* To interpret the role of the soldiers of the 73rd in the history of NSW during the period 1809-1815
* To demonstrate to the public the arms, tactics and everyday life of British soldiers on Garrison duty in the Colony of New South Wales.
