About A-Muse

The A-Muse Theatre Group Inc. was formed in 2004 by Michelle Weaver and Helen Walker, two playwrights and co-writers of "Beyond Mediocrity", the story of an unhappy teacher's journey as she redefines herself and her life.

After having written "Beyond Mediocrity" to balance what the pair saw as a lack of strong female characters and stories in theatre, Helen and Michelle discovered their next obstacle - a lack of support and an absence of funding for community theatre.

True to style, the pair confronted this lack of support with relish and created their own support - A-Muse Theatre Group Inc.
