Our vision is to be a vibrant, caring and spiritually growing parish. We will do this by following God’s Word and reaching out into the community with the Gospel and love of Jesus Christ.

Our Mission

Our mission is to serve God and to reach out to the community of Mitcham and Nunawading and to the wider church.

Our goals and objectives

As a caring parish we will:
o Develop a pastoral care team
o Review and improve ways to support new parishioners
o Support and grow our Children’s and Families’ Ministry.

As a growing parish we will:
o Actively work to increase our congregation
o Train, equip and provide opportunities for people to become active members of the parish
o Continue to develop a small group ministry for Bible study, prayer and fellowship.

As a serving parish we will:
o Take into account the needs of our congregation and develop worship that is relevant to everyone.

As a reaching out parish we will:
o Work with local, Diocesan and overseas agencies to meet welfare needs
o Develop new outreach ministries, such as Messy Church and Kids’ Hope, for families
o Sustain and grow our Mainly Music ministry
o Continue involvement with the CRE program at Mitcham Primary school.
