The library is staffed by members of the Group who participate in a volunteer roster.
Contact HeritageWorks direct on (03) 5561 0283 where you can talk to someone from the Group or leave a message on the answering machine.
The library contains a large collection of books, journals and newsletters in hardcopy form. A large collection of microfiche and microfilms is also maintained. A catalogue of the holdings may be purchased, refer publications page for details of price etc
The Reference Library also contains a major collection of maritime resource material belonging to the Museum that may be accessed whilst in the library.
Microfiche readers and a microfilm reader are available (we use the ScanPro2000, so you can print out your results) for public use.
A number of computers are also available to aid research, with an ever growing collection of CDROM's containing family history databases from Australia and around the world also available for research. The computers are networked and provide full internet access, thus making available many more avenues for research.FEES
