Those wishing to visit the Mechanic's Institute only at Flagstaff Hill (for Research and other associated activities) do not have to pay normal, full entry fees to the facility. Make your intentions known at Reception. If you possess suitable identification linking you with the AIGS or other Genealogical Group then please present it at this time. You will then be issued with some form of visible identification (still to be finalised) so that Staff can monitor your movements within Flagstaff Hill. Under these circumstances, you need only pay a Researcher entry fee of $2.00. More details later as procedures are finalised (we are all still learning to "live" together at 'The Hill'). |
The library is staffed by members of the Group who participate in a volunteer roster.
