FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q1. Where can I find my family coat-of-arms?

A1. Generally speaking, Arms are assigned to one person only, and not to a family as often believed.

Members of an Armigers family may use the Arms of this Armiger during their lifetime, with suitable differences indicating their relationship to the Armiger.

Other more distant family members may be entitled to apply for Cadet Arms.

After the death of an Armiger, the eldest son can inherit the Arms.

Q2. What is a Blazon?

A2. For a description of the Coat-of-Arms in Heraldic language refer to an Heraldic Dictionary.
