John Monash: Engineering enterprise prior to WW1.

Monash joined contractors Graham & Waddick in 1888 as site engineer on the Outer Circle Railway. (This described a quarter-circle from East to North around Melbourne's outer suburbs.) He wrapped up the paperwork for them in 1991. He appears on the right in this photograph. David Beardsell [1979] names the other men as Messrs Cunningham and Grey, and the place as Hartwell in 1889 or 1890.
