Monier arch bridge at Wollert [Woolert], Whittlesea.

View though the arch from creek level, near one abutment. The arch is highly skewed away from the viewer. The spandrel walls are of undressed 'bluestone' basalt blocks to match the pre-existing abutments and wing walls. Part of a modern prestressed concrete road bridge on slender columns can be seen in the distance.
