View along the floor of the channelised creek. The new, two-span bridge has a very low central pier and the arches seem to spring from the floor of the channel. The spandrel walls are finished in rough cast mortar and the arch profiles picked out in paler smooth mortar. The parapet is a visually heavy iron lattice with masonry pillars at its ends.
