John Monash: Engineering enterprise prior to WW1.

Monier arch bridge, Booth St, Bendigo.

Looking along the bed of the channelised creek, at and through the bridge. The profile of the thin Monier arch is visible, with rough cast spandrel walls above. A dark string course marks the top of the spandrels. Above this, the parapet walls are in red brick, with a bluestone capping.

The bridge carries Booth St, Bendigo over the channelised Bendigo Creek. It was built by Monash & Anderson in 1901.
