John Monash: Engineering enterprise prior to WW1.

Monier arch bridge, Ford's Creek, Mansfield, Victoria. Half longitudinal section, half side elevation. Based on the drawing of 23 July 1903.

Half longitudinal cross-section, half elevation. The block abutments are founded in rock. The single arch has a rise of 9 feet and a clear span of 40 feet. The spandrels are gravity retaining walls formed of brick in lime mortar.
