Do You
Part Four
Why Travel
Go to South Africa they cried
Go to the Himalayas and meditate
Go here or there
Why?
The Truth is with me wherever I am
Holiday in Hell
Roll on the day of destiny
Say goodbye Gracie
Wish the folks well, they'll need it where they're going
Cheerio good citizens of Hell
Warm and toasty
Hope you enjoyed your stay
Do come back again
What no kiss
You'll make me cry
See ya next year
Come again
The room is always open for you
Pack up your troubles and come on down
A home away from home
Just as the brochure described it
Hell, come and visit
Innocent Child
Make an action film
One with lots of shooting
A thriller
Or one about love and tragedy
Set it in Rio
Plenty of extreme actions and reactions
Why??
The truth I wish to represent
Lives just as much in a suburban house
Having no major dramas
In fact more so
Since it is the general experience
Which if done in consciousness
With no thoughts
Is greater than climbing Mount Everest in the nude
And all such futile oddities done with something lacking
Consciousness
Look at the child play
What fun, what joy
No thought interfering
Simply being
Joyous
A blessing we all have to rediscover
No effect/problems in Man
The problem is Man
Is you and me
All of us
Thinking we exist as I
Separate from others and objects and our emotions
I am angry
The illusion of the two
I who can control and change anger
Whilst man is in such division
There is conflict
Our whole world is predicated on this fragmentation
I am English, Buddhist, Communist
All fragmentary
Said reforms achieving nothing
More in need now than ever
Why?
Because they operate on the same division
Us and the world out there to change
When it is this very division
This very fragmentation
Which causes conflict in Man
Resulting in all our woes
From child abuse to war
We are the problem
Each and everyone one of us
It is not govts, religion and the like
Accept responsibility
The suffering of the world is caused by us, by me
By all of us
We are the anger
We cannot control it
There is no separate controller to control it
We are it
We are the world
The whole problem is One
It is us
The only change needs to be in Man
In all of us
Because we are the world
We are One
But to change man we cannot make any effort
Effort involves conflict
An I trying to change something
Reinforcing the problem
So we are right back where we started
The mind and conflict are the problem
But we cannot use the mind or other name, will, to put in effort
to change
It is like making the thief the policeman to catch the thief who
is himself
Then how?
By making no effort
Easy you say
Try it and see if it is easy
We make effort constantly
The mind is never quiet
Always thinking this, then that
Conflict, fragmentation
The mess of the world
Whilst the mind is thinking we have conflict
No change
Make no effort
Just watch the mind working
Be keenly aware of all and
As you watch with no wish to change, no effort, you will begin
to see
Not in any intellectual sense
But in your bones to use a phrase
The uselessness, the illusion of mind
Keep watching with no effort
The mind will lose power and fade away
With the mind gone
No more conflict
No more fragmentation
No more observer and observed
Only thing left is Truth
Joy and love
Celebrate.
Aware
No effort
Look
No image in between
Observation
Look and see
Aware
Social Workers
Crash
The door is forced
A size 12 boot shatters the afternoon peace
Rotted door splintering like lard
Women and children flee
Social workers burst in like the sas
Take these children away
Into care
We know best
Fighting mothers are left weeping for their lost children
The Wind
The wind blew and blew and blew, over and over
Through and through
Trees bowed in supplication
Leaves whirled in a frenzied dance
Dervishes spinning and spinning
Dust top tipped against windows
Whoosh
Garden chairs being pushed, blown over
Gusting harder and harder
Fences straining
Slots feeling the wind over their struts
Below, loosening them
I stand in its midst
Enjoying the power of nature on my body
Struggling to stay upright
I close my eyes transported away.
Remote Control TV
Remote control TV
Sit and flick
Press a button
Ease and slumber
The Void
The void
The void
What to think
Nothing in the void
Attention
Doing things
Making effort
Is always conflict
Adding to the world-wide confusion
The feeling of I as separate
Something which can control and change
I am angry
I can control my anger and change it to good
Division between the I and anger
Observer and observed
Subject and Object
The division causes conflict
The fragmentation is the root of all our problems
The division in oneself
Look to yourself
Change yourself
Make no effort
Effort involves the I making it
Causes more conflict
Makes things worse
But what to do?
Sit still for awhile
Watch the workings of your mind
See the Truth of the above and in that moment be free
Not intellectually
But feel it
Knowing any effort will spoil the moment, make it worse
Stop in a moment
By stopping, no more effort
Observer and observed become no more
Only observation is left when you stop fighting it division ends
Fragmentation ceases
All becomes whole
So be attentive
How?
Don't try and be attentive
More effort
Be aware when you are inattentive
When you are
That is attention
Negation of the negative leaves Nothing
Not by seeking the positive but by negating the negative
What's left is Nothing
The Truth
Friday Night
Friday night
Staying in
Watching the old favs on TV
Porridge
Open all Hours
Both with Ronnie Barker
Movie
Eyes agog
Wot no sex
Not bloody likely
Come here darling
Cheering me up Sarah
Head banging again
Meetings I don't want
Go away
Do anything but see me
Take some aspirins in the rain
Gulp in the falling water to wash them down
Brollies up
Eyes poked
Wet and windy in downtown Melbourne
Home with the sun as company
So you decided to show your face then
Sarah riding her new bike
Laughing, smiling and making me do the same
How she cheers me up
Pie and Chips
Aussie fish and chips
Not the best
Fish rather dry
Chips not cooked proper
No vinegar to put on them
Give me Hollands pie and chips anytime
Lovely
Bath Time
Giving Sarah a bath
How she loves splashing around
Talking and playing
I sit and read my book and watch
Cappa and Honey
The funnies make me laugh
Red dots flicking in my eye
Popping in the sun
Lights of fire
Heat up the milk
Look at the doughnuts
Finger in the middle
Cappano and Honey
Dew on my brain
Sunday Afternoon
Amazing candescence of rain like diamonds falling on my head
I dash to bring in the washing
Whipping off the pegs
Chucking them in the peg basket
Rain comes down harder
I'm getting soaked, only a few more to do
Finished, carry basket inside, strip off naked
Kiss the wife and child, run outside and dance
Enjoying natures tears on my skin
Bloody cold though
I sprint off after my ball
Playing frenzied football in the back
Smashed against the fence, goal I scream hopping about
Dick bouncing whilly nilly
Balls retracting inside to safety
I finger them, two balls and a dick I say out loud
Just checking.
I push open the fence
Rain bucketing down now
Looking around I skip along the path
At the gate, halloo world I shout
Creeping along the pavement, spinning and whirling
Arms akimbo
What the hell does akimbo mean?
The sky has gone dark
Black clouds lear down at me
I can tell they fancy my lucious body
Grabbing my manhood, I thrust it to the sky
Come and get it cloudy
Wanking myself off madly oblivious to all around
Just at the point of orgasm cracks a lightening bolt through me
Eruptions of sparks and jissum explode from my penis
I have only time to reflect
What a bloody great Sunday afternoon.
Running out of Beer
Passive, massive and Lassie
Come home boy
Lost on a Scottish island
Up to his neck in holly
I quiver and take aim
Thwack, dead in the bull
One hundred and eighty
I down my twentieth pot of Boddies
Glasses balanced on my enormous gut
We've run out of bitter
Doo you mind Ade
Course not Fred
Having said that I trundled off behind the bar
Proceeded to lift my T-shirt and sprawling on the
Floor behind the bar, Fred put a metal tap against my belly, and
Lifting a ginormous hammer asked
You ready Ade
Hit away Fred
Proceeded to smash the tap into my body
I gulped as 10 inches of metal shot into my belly
Standing up groggily
Fred busied himself fixing the tap properly
The first pint was drawn and the bar cheered
Good night for me
I spent it sat behind the bar watching the football on the telly
Free nuts and crisps with a convenient pouring hole to
Replenish my glass
Cheers
Hope you have a good un.
Sunday Sparrow
Sleep overpowered me
I collapsed on the sofa and sighed
Television images popped onto the screen before me
Bugs Bunny being chased by Gomer
Brilliant
Just in time for the kids telly
Hope I've not missed the Bananas
Looking around I witnessed a strange sight
A sparrow pecking on the window sill
Hovering and tapping its beak on the glass
I opened the window and in it flew
Hallo there I said gently
It landed on my head
Rubbing its head against mine like a cat
Sitting down again I positioned it next to me on the sofa
Give it a can of beer and we
Sat out to watch some good tv.
Western Porridge
Porridge for breakfast, lunch and tea
Biscuits for a snack
A large bruise appeared on my knee
Not knowing what to do
I cracked an egg
Smoked the yoke
Illumination came but only the lightbulb
Seeing a worn tea towel
I got some dry pots out of the cupboard
Wet them
Dry them
Forgot to put them back
Tilting a Hombero on my shoulder
I looked at Bogie and Bacall
Looking at you kid
Startling revelation of desire
A new cooker flowed in
Melting on the floor
Playing with images, sound and sights
A fridge too far
Chocolate Heavan and I knew he had found one
Wind blew
A scrub bush flew across my path
One of those you always see in the Western movies
The wind hissed
I clicked my off button
Checked the gauge
Six chambers and all full
Ready for anyone
In I strode
Silence
All eyes on me
Cards fluttered on the card table
I picked a glass up and downed the whisky
Stubble on my face scratched the surface
Give us another
It hurtled down the bar
I flew at my guns and Bang!!
Enjoy a few beers
Six green beers down my throat
Six green beers down my throat
Should it be seven
No I think not
Six is more than enough
Enough to get you tipsy
Slurring your words, making passes at all the women
Enjoying myself you mean
Suppose so
Hold on to change the world.
Last one for tonight
Put the little green soldiers to bed in the recycling bin tonight
Cold I know lads and lasses but think of the next day
Churned in and churned out as something new
Your whole life begins tomorrow
No thanks, I'd rather it have never started and never end
Me not existing
No one real
No suffering or misfortune, just Truth
But what??
I don't know
Don't lose the faith, but what faith
Believe in no God or ritual but more a sense of self beyond mind
and
Beyond the grasping nature of society now.
Find it
Hold onto it and we may yet change the world.
The Time between day and night
Calm with no wind
I walked with my daughter
It was bliss
No wind
A refreshing cold bite in the air
Daytime and nightime in limbo
Neither one nor the other
Everything hushed
Quiet
Peaceful
Sarah played on the swings
I pushed and felt at ease
The stillness and the light
Gave a sharp clarity to the swing and slide, grass and trees
I looked
Without thinking
No ideas or images
Simply looked
Living in the present
I saw everything so clearly
Life attained new meaning
The I no longer existed
I felt the flow of nature
Smiled at Sarah laughing
Feeling so close
True Blue
Up early and feeding Floppy
No one around
Not a sound
A pin dropped in for a chat
Wore a top hat
I called to the gnome
Come on over
We are having a cuppa
Fred ambled over
Trailing four leaved clover
Good luck to you boyo
It was not a gnome but a ukilele
Play on brother
Twang, twang, twang
We all say
Rhapsodies in blue
Tapping our shore
One only amongst the lot
Hedge it in
Spin around
Drop the dead donkey
I'm not going there
No worries mate
I'm a true blue
Wot
Gabriel
Archangel Gabriel looked on as he sang
His new Ford Falcon had been in a prang
Melancholy were the notes he set forth
Screaming blue murder for all he was worth.
Mona Lisa
Mona Lisa, Mona Lisa
How I love you
Your face echoes the empty chamber in me
Mona Lisa
How I seize you and smile
I love you and know what to do
Oh Mona Lisa
Forgive me my signs
I'm nervous and want to hold you
Mona Lisa, please say you'll be mine
I'll always truly be thine
The Ball
I saw the ball coming
A projectile arrowing for my gob
Smack
It smashed me right in the eye
Bloody lot of good seeing it did
Good Job
Off again to an interview
This time for a job I really want
One I have the experience for
Fingers crossed
The World is Me
Man returns to family
One year on
They have moved to a new town
Don't recognise him
New man in the house
All quiet with the kids
What is going on
I tunnel under the floorboards and observe
Watch myself
With no judgement or condemnation
Simply watch and observe
Quietly
The mind quietens
Fragmentation ceases
Conflict goes
I am the world
The world is me
Here and Now
Since the moon exploded
I have been bald as an old coot
Hair off in clumps
Body filled with lumps
I am up in the dumps
Swallow the frog
Hop off into oblivion
Watch the telly and fester
Play cards instead or
Chess, backgammon, draughts
Monopoly, scrabble, cluedo
Trivial Pursuits, Chinese checkers
Battleships, Dominoes
Cribbage and other games
As a family, enjoy
Win some, lose some
Have a good time
I need the thrill of life
Watch Noddy hit the roof
Car drive into the settee
Flying a plane, helicopter, microlight
Glider, parachute, hanglide, paraglide
Surf, windsurf, canoe
Scuba dive to the reef
Preening and gleeing
Give me this and that
I'm here and now
Not yesterday
Not tommorrow
Forget time
Forget mind
Forget ideas
Here now
Be aware
Grand National at Blackpool
I gasped as it filled my throat
Cascading down the dark mammoth
Opening like the laughter automaton
At Blackpool Pleasure Beach
Ha, ha, ha, I screeched in unison
Dashing my head back and forth
Smashing my head through the glass covering
Case, and biting into the laughing policeman
Tearing off a plastic ear
I sheepishly looked around
Ran into the Hall of Mirrors
Gaily clad Adrian with a huge bald head
Beer flowed from an orifice
My penis inflated and burst
Spraying bits of Hollands steak and
Kidney pud over one and all
Now that feels a damn site better
I whistled to the flock
Kicking a crying nipper up the butt
Now me lad, fancy a go on the Grand National
There we were rising up and up
Kid perched on me knee
Now don't cry lad
We'll beat the other bastards, Come on
Up and down we hurtled
Neck and neck with t'other car
Bleeding norah I shouted
Everyone heard and looked expectantly
If it isn't the Klondike Gold kid
Come over from Kentucky
He rode the steed in front
Go kid I whooped
Faster and faster we charged
The kid whipping up a frenzy
The other car dawdled miles back
I trapped me leg in some rivet
Pulled the bloody thing down
Crash, metal bounced on top of our car
Bloody good ride eh kid
Here, shout us a whisky.
The wonders of the Tongue
Come on let's celebrate a good time tonight
Strip naked and tie balloons around our naked bodies
Around our cocks, tits, fannies and arse
Watch out on the cock though
Not so tight coz when they engage and gorge up
Your cock will be strangled and you with it
Eyes bulging
Open the champagne
Pour it over my lucious nipples and lick it off
Over my shaft of life
Dip the end in the glass
Thats it darling
With the tongue
Lick the end gently rolling it around the stem
Pulsing with an inrush of blood as excitement grips my face
Steam rising
Gripping the edge of the blanket
That's it darling
Suck it baby
Oooohhhhhh
Beautiful
Jisssum spurting everywhere
In her mouth
On my balls
Lick it off darling
You love the taste
Turn over its your turn
Open those juicy legs
Let me at your mound
Drink some cold champagne
Let it linger in my mouth
Dribble it out onto your clitty
Feel good darling
Hold on tight
I am horny as hell
Going to give you the tongue licking of your life
Plenty More
Fart and trump a good wet un
Oh by goodness that can of Harp is rank
Where's the nearest boozer
My throat is as dry as a prostitutes fanny
I glanced furtively about and slapped out my donger
Fire tanks watch out and sprayed the overflowing pipe
Dirty bugger shouted a man walking his dog
His dog joined in with me on the corner
We exchanged looks
Winked at the man and ran off
Get a meat pie man and live a bit
Can of McKewans in the road
Shake and half full
Of what
Booze or piss
No difference I shrugged knocking it back
Better than that Harp shit
A woman winked pulling up her knickers
Taste good
Ay bloody decent
Plenty more where that came from
Sesame Street
Sesame Street and the Muppets
The Muppets and Sesame Street
Kermie the Frog
The only one in both shows
What is the relationship between the two
Intrigued me since I was a kid
Why did I dislike Sesame Street as a kid
But now I love watching it with my child
Specially Ernie and Bert
Ernie with the same voice as Kermit
The show is excellent
Fun and informative
Promoting peace and harmony
Respect amongst all kinds
Not in a preachy way
In a funny and enjoyable way
Lively songs I dance to with Sarah
Though sometimes on my own
Sesame Street is fun to watch
Nearly Finished
Nearly finished
Now I am
