Face the true enemy

Troops cry out to be let home
Killing their fellow men
Entrails and body parts strewn all around
Men like them
Human beings
With families
Wives and children
No longer with us
Blown apart
Stench rising to block the sense of smell
Stepping over friends only just dead.
Think of them no more
For what
The men back home
Government and business
Army, navy and airforce leaders
Safe in their cosy beds
No risk to them
The establishment sending out the people they hate
Into battle and death.
And we just followed
No more
Join with your fellow workers in future around the world
Turn on the real enemy
The bosses and the state
