Dingle dangle scarecrow peers at me
Stuck on the fridge with legs dangling down
Short sighted
Can only make our a hazy shape
A green masked hay stack shaped like a head.

Trish collects fridge magnets
Hovering over the white metal front
Ones from England, America, Sweden
Many from OZ
Cheap and trashy ones
Large china ones ready to fall and smash
Go on give em a push

Sarah has her bananas in pyjamas, Humpty and chimps
These magnets living lower down the fridge
Within reach of Sarah’s hands allowing her to take them off 
And stick them back on again.

Golly in the corner
Minnie mouse coyly standing above the Fisherman
Within pecking distance of the bird
A feast of characters.
