This photo shows the missing room at the back of the school. The year of removal is unknown but many buildings of the village of Lower Homebush, disappeared in the depression of the 1890’s. One example is the original school at Pomona near Hall’s Gap. The building used as a school there was dragged from Homebush by horse and dray in 1890. The missing room has been mentioned for use by infant grades. It has been suggested that the room was by the various teachers and their families and their families for accommodation. The paved area at the rear was the site of this missing room.
