STATEMENT OF PURPOSES

1. The name of the incorporation is ADDVic Incorporated

2. The purposes for which the Incorporation is established are as follows:

(i). To provide a forum for regular support and social contact for and between ADD groups and other interested parties.

(ii). To provide and make available information for ADD groups and other interested parties.

(iii). To promote community awareness of ADD, its causes, effects, development, and treatment, and of the relevant information, support; contact persons, facilities and benefits available in Victoria for children and adults suffering from ADD.

(iv). To enter into discussions dialogue, cooperative agreements and contact with, and to lobby and to exchange information with, individual (and colleges and associations of) psychiatrists and medical practitioners, governments, government agencies, corporations, associations, groups and individuals about issues and all matters relevant to the achievement or promotion of these purposes.

(v). To establish joint advisory boards, committees and groups with relevant and interested professionals, including (but not limited to) psychiatrists, medical practitioners, counsellors, governments, government agencies, corporations, associations, groups and individuals for purposes consistent with the achievement or promotion of the purposes.

(vi). To raise funds from such sources as the incorporation may determine, including (but not limited to) imposing fees and subscriptions, conducting appeals, competitions and fundraising activities and soliciting donations.

(vii). To expend funds to achieve or promote these purposes in such a manner as the Incorporation may determine.

(viii). To do all other acts and things as are incidental or conductive to the achievement or promotion of these purposes.
