Office
- Tax Deductibility for all donations over $2.00
- NO paid staff in Australia or overseas. All office
work is done by Hon. Directors and volunteers.
- Work through excellent Non-Government Organisations
in Bangladesh and India for AusAID funded projects.
- Yearly visits to projects areas by Honorary Board
Directors or Advisors. These trips are self funded and conducted at
no cost to Action Aid.
- Annual General Meeting held each year, usually in
October. Members and friends are encouraged to attend.
- Guest speakers available to talk to interested
groups i.e. Rotary, Community groups, schools etc.
- Of funds disbursed 91.5% was forwarded to overseas
partner organisations in 2001/2002.
