The Australian Cloth Doll Association Inc. is several years old now and we are increasing our services and membership numbers all the time.

In past years we have held an annual retreat at Maldon, but due to unforseen circumstances this is not happening in 2003. Instead, we will be holding a series of workshops throughout the year. We are looking at new venues with the thought of holding smaller, more intimate retreats; we will keep you posted.

This year we are holding a Cloth Doll Show in conjunction with Precious Dolls and Bears on the weekend of 5th–6th April 2003 at Box Hill Town Hall. More information can be obtained by writing to us at PO Box 229, Ringwood East, 3135, or by contacting Precious Dolls in Ashwood, Victoria.

New members are always welcome and membership fees are $35 per year (plus a once-off joining fee of $5) and $17.50 for anyone living more than 100 km from our meeting hall in Melbourne. There is also a $3 member fee charged at each meeting.

Members receive 11 newsletters per year – each month except January. We also hold monthly meetings where members participate in different hands-on projects, or demonstrations. The club's lending library opens at 12.30pm on meeting days, then the meeting commences at 1.30pm and finishes at around 4pm.
