    Look past the wrinkles

    On October 1st, two billboards will be erected in both Melbourne and Sydney to celebrate the International Year of Older Persons. Images of the billboards are pictured here. Australian Coalition '99 has undertaken the production of the billboards through The Body Shop's sponsorship of the project, and the billboards will be displayed during the months of October and November, 1999.   • Special Media Event - A Toast to Life

    A Toast to Life is a national media and community celebration of fun, laughter and living as part of the International Year of Older Person. Australian Coalition '99 has has organised this event through sponsorship from The Body Shop. The event is a promotional activity of the Body Images & Ageing campaign. The event will be held in Melbourne on Thursday 30th September 1999.

    Jill Forster, John Howard and Alan Cassell from the acclaimed ABC series, Seachange, will speak about their personal experiences of ageing.
