A few lines on the
BEAUTY OF AGEING

This copyline along with "Look Past the Wrinkles" will confront commuters in Melbourne & Sydney from October 1st, 1999, the International Day of Older Persons during this United Nations International Year of Older Persons 1999.

The billboards will be erected for the months of October and November, and located at St Martins Place and Circular Quay railway station in Sydney; and at sites in Albert Park and North Melbourne in Melbourne.

The billboards feature a photograph of Pat Mellick by acclaimed photographer, Ella Dreyfus, applauded for her controversial "Age & Consent" series of photographs exhibited in Sydney earlier this year (and also known for her "Pregnancy" series).

The Body Shop, known for its no-advertising policy, has its logo appearing on billboards along with the United Nations' International Year of Older Persons logo which features the copyline, "towards a society for all ages", because, after all,

everyone is ageing.

The billboards are a part of The Body Shop- Australian Coalition '99 collaborative BODY IMAGE & AGEING CAMPAIGN. Australian Coalition '99 is a not-for-profit and non-political coalition of more than 1,200 business and community organisations across the country.

The billboards can be viewed at: www.vicnet.net.au/~ac99/toast.html
