Homeshare Victoria

Homeshare is a program to allow older people at risk to remain at home where possible. It is a matching service, pairing older home owners with those needing affordable accommodation. The "Homesharer" receives free accommodation in exchange for providing support and some household type services.

Homeshare is starting up in Australia, both in Melbourne and Sydney. MECWA is the auspicing body for Melbourne and will include Homeshare amongst its suite of services for older clients. "Homeshare Victoria" will be associated with "Homeshare International" when established.
