The Confederation of Australian Critical Care Nurses Inc is an organisation consisting of 2,500 member Australia wide. CACCN is made up of critical care nurses from Intensive Care Units, Coronary Care, Emergency and similar areas. Most of these members work with the elderly as patients. CACCN holds national and state conferences and publishes a national journal and newspaper. This year's national conference will see the presentation of the winning nursing review paper titled "Trauma in the Elderly".
