Nat. Federation of Blind Citizens of Australia
PRAHRAN VIC 3181
National Federation of Blind Citizens of Australia (NFBCA) is a non-profit organisation of 2,500 members that represents more than 290,000 blind and vision-impaired Australians. It works to ensure that blind and vision-impaired people are equal participants in society, and that the services received are appropriate to needs and are of a high standard. Achievements to date include the introduction of audible traffic signals, and tactile asthma medication containers; and successful campaigns for uncluttered footpaths to improve safety.
