Heart Support - Australia is a national consumer organisation offering support, information and encouragement to people who have a heart condition and their families/carers, members work together to support each other through branches (55 throughout Australia). They also offer a lay counselling service - free and not conditional upon membership. They also offer eductional/ training in lay counselling skills for branches throughout Australia Members have a strong social network and work in their community to promote positive ageing and life after a heart event.
