STAR Series takes Seniors to New Heights
The group of thrillseekers put aside any fears and launched themselves into Dragonboats. The seniors managed to get up a fair speed as they paddled their way through Cullen Bay leaving amazed on-lookers in their wake. The thrills weren't to end here, the next week they were scaling to new heights at the Indoor Rock Climbing Centre. With harnesses on and heart rates up the sky was the limit with many participants managing to make it to the top of the wall. "Who ever would have thought we would be paddling Dragonboats and climbing up walls at our age," said David Hussin, one of the STAR participants.

The STAR (Senior Territorians Active in Recreation) Series co-ordinated by Life. Be in it in conjunction with The Office of Senior Territorians was a huge success. The Series, which was run in Darwin and Palmerston gave seniors the opportunity to try their hand at something different, and this they did!
