We take this opportunity to thank all our
partners for their past and
forthcoming efforts,
and the large number of talented and generous
individuals who have
assisted us since our establishment in 1995. We look
forward to working
with you and the Commonwealth Government during 1999 to
promote an
age-friendly Australian society.

On a
final note, the following Odd Spot was published in the The Sunday
Age
on 17.1.99.
It certainly made us smile.
"A Finnish village is
celebrating the International Year of Older Persons
by holding a sex
fair for over 45s. A highlight will be a nature trail with
signs
pointing out barns filled with aromatic hay. Organisers say
plentiful
supplies of Viagra will be
on hand."
