Australian Coalition '99 is a consortium of non-government organisations promoting the International Year of Older Persons 1999.

• Read IYOP INFOfor a broad overview of Australia's approach to the International Year of Older Persons including details of AC'99 achievements to date. Once you've had a look at this site you may also wish to look at other LINKS OF INTEREST. Advise us if your site commemorates IYOP and we will establish a hotlink.

• Find out what's on! Whether you're an individual or organisation, there are opportunities for you to get involved. Refer to the CALENDAR OF EVENTSfor an up to date summary of national IYOP events. The calendar also has a special page with details of WALKS Throughout Australia during 1999.

• We also recommend you look at our national Update NEWSLETTERS for the latest information on Australian organisations' plans for IYOP.

• If you would like to get publicity for your IYOP event, go to PUBLICITY for hints on how to contact the media and write a press release.

• We encourage you to leave your comments about this site at GUEST BOOK & DISCUSSION. You may also choose to leave us your email address so we can keep you up to date and alert you to new editions of the newsletter. Throughout 1999 we will be requesting your feedback on specific issues.
