The model shown above was built shortly after the
club was formed, construction was commenced in 1938 and completed in
1943. It is a model of the Victorian Railways D3 class locomotive it
is of 7mm scale, O gauge and stud contact pickup.
The loco was scratchbuilt from brass and has been
exhibited at a number of occasions over the last 55 years. This model
is still operational and used on the club's O Gauge layout.
