Croitoru (Romania) & Monica R. Fischer (Switzerland) Can you tell the difference? Alexandra Croitoru (Romania) and Monica R. Fischer (Switzerland) were interested in the anonymous urban space, a space without a national identity. They mixed randomly, photographs with Public Buildings from Zurich and Bucharest, but the viewer can’t tell which image is from where. They can be from everywhere in Europe. This space is the opposite of the recognizable touristy urban cliché, which we usually record when we travel. |
