A history of Tarnagulla and Districts.
Centre of the Victorian Goldfields, Australia.
Information kindly supplied and extracts transcribed by Pauline Long.
There are five books in this series;
VPRS 354 UNIT 1 (1860-1865)
VPRS 354 UNIT 2 (1865-1870)
VPRS 354 UNIT 3 (1870-1875)
VPRS 354 UNIT 4 (1875-1883)
VPRS 354 UNIT 5 (1883-1888)
These are on open access at the Victorian Public Record
Office. They make fascinating reading, with everything from
maintenance of illegitimate children, to paying for the
constable to escort people to asylums etc to the everyday non
payment of bills owing. You must transcribe from the books -
they will not photocopy them.
