2pm Murder She Wrote … Before Anyone Else!
Australia's first female crime writer was Mary Fortune. Writing as 'W.W' or 'Waif Wanderer', her fascinating and
at times seamy life featured bigamy, common-law husbands, drunkenness and homelessness. Lifting the lid on this larger than life character will be Fortune expert and distinguished scholar and writer, Lucy Sussex. Session hosted by Peter Bragge. Session will conclude with the launch of Three Murder Mysteries by Mary Fortune, edited by Lucy Sussex (Mulini Press). THE BISHOP'S PARLOUR

4pm: Sunday, July 19:  New Voices
Of late some extremely exciting new voices have joined the world of Australia crime fiction. Nick Gadd and Robert Sims are two such writers. Today they will talk about the journey that brought them to their remarkable literary debuts with Angela Savage.  THE BISHOP'S PARLOUR
