The Seymour and District branch of U3A was established in 2005.

Melting Pot on April 1st 2008
was entitled "Understanding our Aboriginal History" - an iteresting outline of the last 200 years for the aboriginal population in Victoria and the devistation that occured with the spread of disease and expansion of white settlers through the state from the early 1800's.  Many cases were outlined showing the resiliance of aboriginals to the changed situation they faced.
